Sheryl has been married for 15+ years and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Sheryl lives in Clarkston and enjoys being actively involved in many of the children’s and women’s ministries at her church. They love to travel as a family. She is a true competitor, welcomes a challenge and loves almost every sport. When there is down time, you can usually find her and her husband playing competitive slow-pitch softball, volleyball, bowling or enjoying her kids sporting events. |
Sheryl Kersten has been in real estate and at RE/MAX since 1995. Initially she worked as a Licensed Buyer’s Agent for a successful real estate partnership. They were her RE/MAX Realtors before she was licensed. The mentoring she received and number of families she was able to help at the start was invaluable to her growth. She claims, “Getting a real estate license is necessary, but it didn’t make me a capable agent…the experience and the mentoring did.” A previously obtained paralegal degree and years of people skills added to her successful beginning. Most recently in 2006, she furthered her education and has obtained her real estate broker’s license making her an associate broker at RE/MAX Encore. She has been blessed and grateful to have accomplished what very few do. |
